Marlins Update COVID-19 Safety Protocols

The Miami Marlins are making changes based on consultations with Major League Baseball, health experts, and public officials and have amended the following policies and measures for Marlins home games effective May 21, 2021.

Face Coverings & Pod Seating

The face covering policy at loanDepot park will be amended for events effective May 21, 2021 following recent changes to CDC recommendations as well as federal, state and local orders and guidelines. Event attendees should continue to stay safe and follow CDC recommendations for face coverings and other personal health measures. Attendees will not be required to wear masks or facial coverings while attending events at loanDepot park; however, non-vaccinated individuals are strongly encouraged to adhere to the face covering recommendations of the CDC. Event staff will continue to have a mandatory face covering policy and undergo a health screen prior to each event (e.g. questionnaire and temperature) until further notice and appropriate social distancing between seat pods will continue to be applied for Marlins home games through June. Any remaining distance minimums will be removed and open seating will be restored for Marlins home games effective July 5, 2021 - more information on ticket onsale for games scheduled after June and the relocation of Marlins Member accounts to standard locations will be communicated at a later date.
