Chicken Feeding Banned In Key West

You'll want to put that bread and seed back in your pocket in the Southernmost City.

Key West Commissioners have unanimously passed an ordinance banning people from feeding and giving water to wild chickens, pigeons, ducks and geese.

Officials claim it's a health and safety issue.

Violators could face $250 fines for a first offense and $500 a day for repeat offenders.
