Run-Off Underway In Palm Beach County Judicial Race

There is one judicial race on Palm Beach County ballots in the November election and it's in our Election Spotlight series, brought to you by Air Around the Clock.

The run-off for Palm Beach County Circuit Court, Group 30 features the Incumbent, going against the second-highest vote-getter from the August primary.

Judge Jaimie Goodman touts his experience...with five and a half years on the bench.

"The people of Palm Beach County, they want to appear before a judge who has that trial experience. During my tenure as a Circuit Court judge, I've presided over 49 jury trials and thousands of hearings."

His challenger Adam Myron is a trial attorney and Florida Supreme Court Certified Circuit Mediator, whose practiced law for 18 years.

"I think it's really important that I do my part in ensuring public confidence in the justice system and that's why I'm running in this race in particular and trying to bring the qualities that I feel I can bring to the bench which are calmness, control, common sense, integrity, decency and fairness."

Myron has brought up concerns over Goodman's demeanor in the courtroom. That's something the Incumbent addresses in the above audio player.
