Runoff Needed In Miami-Dade Mayor's Race

Another round of voting will be needed to decide who will be Miami-Dade County's next mayor.

Steve Bovo, Jr. and Daniella Levine Cava were the top vote-getters yesterday, but neither got a majority, so a runoff will be needed in November.

The winner will replace Carlos Gimenez, who won his Republican primary race for Congress yesterday.

Gimenez will face Democratic incumbent Debbie Mucarsel-Powell in District 26 in November.
