Hospital Adds More Staff To Contact Tracing Effort

A Miami hospital is ramping up its efforts to slow the spread of the coronavirus.

Larkin Community Hospital has added about 1,200 contact tracing volunteers in the last month.

Those who get infected with COVID-19 are asked to enter their info at COVIDFighterApp.com, and volunteers will then try to track down anyone the patient may have come into contact with.

One doctor behind the effort recently told CBS 4 News it's important you enter your info as soon as you feel sick, and no one's identity will be revealed.
