People Know Little About Their Own Bodies

A new study finds that most of us know very little about our own bodies.

A recent survey found more than a third of people don't know their blood type. Even wose, 75% of those polled weren't aware that there are four different blood groups. And 90% didn't know that O-negative is the universal blood type.

Other findings show a majority had no idea that 98.6 is the average body temperature and almost 30% couldn't tell the difference between a liver and a kidney. A third didn't know humans have two kidneys while 20% thought we each have three.

To make matters worse, 80% considered themselves knowledgeable about the inner workings of the human body.
