Theme parks remain closed, but guests will start returning to Walt Disney World resorts today.
Just a few properties are opening. The Fort Wilderness Resort and Campground opens today. As do Disney Vacation Club properties. The few restaurants that are reopening will have limited capacity.
Disney theme parks will start to reopen July 11th, with the Magic Kingdom and Animal Kingdom first to welcome back guests.
Meanwhile, NBA and Major League Soccer players will start arriving soon too. They'll play in isolation, with no fans, at the ESPN Wide World of Sports complex starting next month.
Disney's domestic parks have been closed since mid-March because of the pandemic. Parks in Hong Kong and Shanghai are just starting to reopen.
