Another boil water notice is in effect in Fort Lauderdale.
This time, the alert covers homes and business on Northwest 19th Avenue between Northwest 6th and 8th Streets.
Crews will be performing emergency repairs during the overnight hours to a valve on a two-inch water main and will be installing a new valve on a six-inch water main.

Residents are advised that all water used for drinking, cooking, making ice, brushing teeth, or washing dishes be boiled. A rolling boil of one minute is sufficient. As an alternative, bottled water may be used.
