SCOTUS Won't Take Up Dalia Dippolito's Murder For Hire Case

The U.S. Supreme Court has turned down an appeal in a well-known murder for hire case out of South Florida.

Dalia Dippolito was convicted of paying to have her husband killed back in 2009.

The arrest of the Boynton Beach woman was featured on an episode of "COPS."

A state appeals court upheld Dippolito's conviction last year and the nation's highest court yesterday declined to take up an appeal. Her attorneys claim she was framed by police who famously filmed her reaction when officers set up a fake murder scene and told her Michael Dippolito was dead. He wasn't.

Dippolito is expected to be released from a prison near Ocala in 2032.
