Football fans are having strong reactions to the new XFL league that debuted this weekend.
Most agreed, the D.C. - Seattle game was a thriller, but Sunday's games were a bit of a bore.
Fans can only hope for more of the trick plays like the one pulled by the D.C. Defenders (see the clip below).
And the XFL-2.0 might have some success. In Washington, WUSA-TV reports that the start-up league was commanding higher ticket prices than the NFL's Redskins. In November's game against the Detroit Lions, Skins tickets at FedEx Field were going for just $4 each for the cheap seats. Compare that to the D.C. Defenders, who now sell tickets for $24-$170 each for next Sunday's game.
And if you're looking for another bargain in D.C., you can get a ticket for Tuesday night's Washington Wizards game starting at $8.
