Paper Threatens Suit Over Eastwood's Jewell Pic

The Atlanta Journal-Constitution is sticking up for one of its reporters who covered the Olympic Park bombing in 1996.

In Clint Eastwood's new movie "Richard Jewell," a female reporter is shown sleeping with an FBI agent in order to get a scoop on a story.

The paper has gone to court demanding that the film disclose that some events "were imagined for dramatic purposes and artistic license." They say the late Kathy Scruggs never acted improperly and was always a professional.

In the film, Scruggs is portrayed by Olivia Wilde. It was Scruggs who broke the news that the FBI was investigating Jewell as the prime suspect in the bombing.

Eastwood has said his film is an attempt clear Jewell's name and set the record straight.
