Discovery of Alien Life Would Rattle Humanity

NASA keeps looking for life on other planets but, if it finds it, are humans ready to handle the news?

NASA's chief scientist doesn't think mankind is ready for such revolutionary thinking.

In an interview with The Telegraph, Jim Green said "It will start a whole new line of thinking. I don't think we're prepared for the results. We're not."

Next summer, two rovers from NASA and the European Space Agency (ESA), will travel to Mars to drill horizontally into rocks and deep into the surface, in the hope of finding evidence of living organisms.
