South Florida KFC Only One Selling Flan

For nearly half a century, a KFC restaurant in Hialeah has been serving up a dish with a local flair.

According to the "Miami Herald," the KFC at 811 W. 49th St has been selling flan that's baked every day in the chicken restaurant.

The restaurant originally made the flan for employees, but it eventually made its way onto the menu.

The recipe has been passed down by at least one generation and owners say the secret to their perfect flan is the KFC pressure cooker.

A slice of flan that cost 99-cents in 1975 now sells in that one store for $2.89
