Today, Broward Navy Days kicks off Fleet Week at Port Everglades.
This morning, four Navy vessels and two Coast Guard cutters will arrive for a week of events.
Tonight is the "All Hands on Deck" Welcoming Party and other events include a golf outing, fishing tournament, and a night at a Marlins game.
Broward Navy Days President Mary Anne Gray says sailors and members of the Coast Guard are encouraged to wear their uniforms in public so that people can thank them for their service.
