Cesar Sayoc is claiming he was not politically involved until Donald Trump popped up on his Facebook search. The man who mailed more than a dozen homemade pipe bombs to President Trump's critics said attending his first Make America Great Again rally was like a "new found fun drug." The comments came in a hand-written court filing released yesterday in New York. The 57-year-old Sayoc faces up to 10 years in prison after pleading guilty to sending 16 explosive devices. He also wrote in his letter to the judge that he has abused steroids for more than 40 years. Sayoc says his views on politics have changed and is calling it poison. He calls it dirty, ruthless, and deadly. His lawyers are arguing Sayoc's abuse of steroids may have affected his mental health.
