Ex Universal Employee Forced to Wear Lanyard Sues

Universal Studios is settling a lawsuit filed by a former employee who says she was fired for her religious beliefs.

According to the "Orlando Sentinel," Christine Dussia is a Jehovah's Witness who claims she was forced out of her job because she refused to wear a lanyard promoting Halloween or Christmas celebrations and she wouldn't attend those events at the parks.

Dussia sued the theme park company for religious discrimination in 2017 and the case settled last month.

Terms of the settlement are being kept confidential.
