The group that lost out to David Beckham's plans to renovate Fort Lauderdale's Lockhart Stadium isn't ready to give up the pitch.
FXE Futbol, which wanted to renovate Lockhart to host a Division 2 soccer team, is filing a lawsuit that accuses the city of breaking the law when it awarded the contract to Beckham and Jorge Mas.
The Beckham group wants to demolish the old stadium to build a new state-of-the-art training facility for InterMiami.
