Miami Beach police are identifying the driver they say struck and killed a pedestrian overnight.
Volodymyr Shyshko was taken into custody after he allegedly struck and killed a man at Alton Road and 15th Street just after 3-o'clock this morning.
Police say the 37-year-old Shyshko fled the scene in his white Volkswagen and was arrested a short time later.
The Fort Lauderdale man is charged with DUI manslaughter, vehicular homicide, leaving the scene of a deadly crash, and pot possession.
