Governor Ron DeSantis is announcing his first trade mission abroad and it follows through on a promise he made on the campaign trail.
The governor will lead an 80-member trade delegation to Israel on May 25th.
He says there are chances to partner with water quality experts in Israel who might have expertise in combating the blue-green algae and red tide.
Enterprise Florida is still organizing the trip that also includes a meeting of the Florida cabinet. It will take place inside the new American embassy, which recently moved to Jerusalem.
