Florida Mom Threatens Thief With Soup

A Florida mother used a soup can to stop a carjacker from driving away with her 2-year-old son.

The victim's quick thinking to find a weapon may have saved her child's life.

The women, who asked to remain anonymous, gave details on the attempted theft of her car and child sitting inside it.

She said after leaving a grocery store in Holly Hill a man aggressively rushed towards her demanding car keys.

A witness told investigators the victim was standing by her trunk loading items where she was heard yelling while holding a Progresso soup can.

The suspect ran off and is believed to be the driver of a stolen car involved in a crash. Police believe he was trolling to find another target.
