Miami -Dade Police arrested a man accused of spitting on a victim and forcing dirty cigarettes down her mouth.
The arrest report states, David DeWayne Depew bumped the victim for an unknown reason near the area of Southwest 8th Street and 68th Avenue.
A witness said he then manhandled the women to the ground, picked up a discarded cigarette and tried to force into her mouth.
Police said the 47-year-old was being escorted to the Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center when he began yelling slurs and spat in the officer's face.
Depew faces charges of battery and battery on a police officer.
