FBI Busts Florida 'Stopwatch Bandit'

A bank robber tagged by the FBI as the "Stopwatch Bandit" has been arrested.

Davion Clark, 25, of Miami Gardens, is accused of demanding money from two banks. The first location he targeted was 16200 NW 57th Ave. in Miami Lakes. He then visited a Chase branch at 175 NW 199th St.

According to FBI spokesman Jim Marshall, Clark is believed to be responsible for both bank robberies.

Surveillance video shows the suspect wearing a hood over his head while showing a stopwatch app on his cellphone that appeared to be counting down, Marshall said.

Bank customers were inside both banks at the time of the robberies, but no one was injured.
