There's now a 15th candidate for the 2020 Democratic presidential nomination. Miramar Mayor Wayne Messam joined the race with a video announcement this morning. Messam is mayor of the Miami suburb that's home to 140-thousand people. The 44-year-old son of Jamaican immigrants has been in office since 2015 and points out that he is the city's first African-American mayor. Messam and his wife own a construction business and he played on Florida State's 1993 National Champion football team.
