Jussie Smollett addressed reporters today after Chicago prosecutors announced all charges against him are dropped.
The Empire star left the courtroom after an emergency meeting telling reporters outside, "he will be forever grateful for his friends and family who stood by him."
Smollet was previously accused lying to police about an alleged racial attack.
The actor's lawyer confirmed "all criminal charges against him were dropped and his record has been wiped clean of the filing of this tragic complaint against him."
