Coast Guard Offloads 27,000 Pounds of Cocaine in Miami Beach

The United States Coast Guard has offloaded over 27,000 pounds of cocaine worth $360 million wholesale.

Officials returned from the big bust to the Coast Guard base in Miami Beach this morning.

The Coast Guard Cutter Tampa crew is responsible for intercepting 12 separate drug smuggling vessels. They conducted their search around the Eastern Pacific Ocean near the coasts of Mexico and Central and South America.
