A former gym teacher at Brownsville Middle School is facing new allegations that he sexually abused students.
Wendell Nibbs appeared in court Thursday morning on charges of engaging in sex acts with a child, custodial interference, and false imprisonment.
Nibbs had been on house arrest since he was arrested on similar charges in 2017 but now the judge ordered he be held without bond.
Parents of Nibbs' alleged victims are suing the school district, saying they ignored obvious warning signs.
