A Florida man is wanted by police for cutting off his tracking device around the same time his ex-girlfriend was found dead.
A warrant was issued Tuesday for Alejandro Aparicio after a judge deemed him a flight risk.
He was ordered to wear a GPS tracker and surrender two passports last month. The order was broken when the device's location completely stopped in the Everglades.
Aparicio was taken into police custody last month for allegedly stealing $547,000 from his on-and-off girlfriend.
The arrest came 18 months after Aparicio told investigators he found Andrea Greenburg unresponsive on their couch. A toxicology report blamed her death on fentanyl.
He was released on bond February 13th. If you have any information regarding his whereabouts, call Crime Stoppers at 305-471-Tips (8477)
