Richard Wershe Jr., known as "White Boy Rick," was one of the FBI's youngest informants.
At age 14, Wershe helped convict a major cocaine trafficking ring but eventually got caught selling drugs himself.
Former FBI agents told the board Wershe, 49, deserves an early release because of all he did for the government.
The board reviewed Wershe Jr.'s case today regarding his role in a large car theft ring he operated from federal prison and refused to commute the sentence terms.
He is currently housed at the Putnam Correctional Institution in Florida with a set release in October 2020.
