Ex Starbucks CEO in Miami Talking Presidential Politics

The former CEO of Starbucks is in South Florida, testing the waters for a possible presidential bid as an independent.

During a stop at Miami Dade College, Howard Schultz called for a new kind of capitalism that still allows individuals to prosper.

He says, right now, immigrants are being vilified, but have made great contributions to the country, especially in Miami..

Schultz said South Florida is the home of hundreds-of-thousands of immigrants who came here to flee socialist revolutions that destroyed free enterprise and the rule of law.

Schultz is making a two-day swing through the state that includes a town hall Thursday in Tampa.
