A 57-year-old man was taken into custody, he is accused of killing his 86-year-old mother, according to Pembroke Pines Police.
Officers responded to a 911 call around 11 a.m. Wednesday to Pines Village where they found a woman injured in her bedroom. Emergency responders rushed her to Memorial Regional Hospital where she died this morning.
The woman's son was taken into custody. Police would not release names or other details at this time.
