Violent Turbulence Forces Emergency Landing, Injures Passengers

How terrifying for passengers on this Delta Flight #5763 from Orange County to Seattle. Weather caused such intense turbulence bouncing the plane around until it was diverted to Reno.

Passengers posted pictures and videos of the beverage cart turned upside down in the aisle, belongings thrown about the cabin and as well as the passengers -creating a very frightening and chaotic scene on-board.

Of the 63 passengers and crew on board, three were taken to a hospital to be treated for their injuries after they safely landed, the Reno-Tahoe International Airport.

One passenger posted video on Twitter -

“Crazy turbulence and injuries, but the @delta crew handled it perfectly, even the emergency landing,”

Justice added"The plane did a mid-airnose dive twice.”

Those who were not injured were provided pizza and soda by Reno-Tahoe International Airport, Delta, and SSP America as they waited for their next flight to the original destination, the Airportsaidon Facebook.
