Rare Monkey Returned to the West Palm Beach Zoo

Kali, the Goeldi’s monkey, was safely returned before midnight on Wednesday to the Palm Beach Zoo & Conservation Society.

The 12-year-old rare primate suffers from inflammation but appears to be in good health considering she spent days without medication.

Zoo officials gave full credit for Kail’s return to the West Palm Beach Police Department.

"We are so grateful for the tenacious and passionate detectives and police officers involved in our case," said Margo McKnight, Zoo Presidents & CEO.
