A legendary New York Yankee is shedding his pinstripes.
Sources are reporting Jorge Posada is joining the Miami Marlins staff as Special Adviser to Baseball Operations.
The 47-year-old played his entire Major League Baseball career with the Yanks, 16 of them with now Marlins CEO Derek Jeter, and in that time they earned five World Series titles.
Marlins pitchers and catchers are to report to Jupiter for spring training tomorrow with the first full-squad workout on February 18th.
