Miami Firefighters Charged for Vandalizing Colleague's Photos

Four Miami firefighters face criminal charges for allegedly hazing a coworker.

In September of 2017, colleagues of a black lieutenant in the fire department placed a small noose on a family photo.

They also drew explicit sexual graffiti on his other photos in Station 12.

According to the Miami Herald, firefighters Harold Santana, Kevin Meizoso, and Justin Rumbaugh are only charged with misdemeanor criminal mischief because investigators couldn't identify who placed the noose on the photo.

Lieutenant Alejandro Sese is charged with mischief and a felony count of witness tampering for allegedly trying to cover up the incident.

The State Attorney's Office is holding a press conference this afternoon to talk about the case.
