Toys R Us may not be a thing of the past! Newly founded Tru Kids Inc. recently purchased Toys R Us, Babies R Us and company mascot Geoffrey. The original owner's closed all of their doors last summer. According to Tru Kids Inc., these brands generated more than three-billion-dollars in retail purchases in 2018 from 900 stores and e-commerce businesses.
"There is a significant gap and huge consumer demand for the Toys R Us and Babies R US brand," said Tru Kid Inc. No further comment from the new owners on what they plan on doing with their iconic purchase.
