UCF Student Leaves Fully Automatic Rifle In Car Parked On Campus

A University of Central Florida student is under arrest on charges that he had a fully automatic assault rifle in his car on campus.

An investigation into 19-year-old Max Chambers started when police learned he had devices that can convert semi-automatic rifles into fully automatic ones.

The U.S. Attorney's Office is reviewing the facts and more charges could be filed against the Sarasota native.

Police say Chambers never made any threats against the campus.
