A former Miami Hurricanes football player is behind bars after he's accused of forcing himself into one of his neighbors' apartments and holding the woman inside hostage.
Investigators say Sunny Odogwu first pulled the fire alarm at the Camden Brickell before heading downstairs. The victim says when she opened her door, Odogwu tried to kiss her, he then dragged her by her hair and trashed her home.
A judge this morning set the 26-year-old's bond on burglary, false imprisonment, and battery at more than $58,000.
His attorney claims this is all a misunderstanding fueled by medication and his birthday celebration.
