Several Arrested For Illegal ATV Riding

Broward County deputies are dealing with the fallout of a controversial part of MLK Day weekend.  

Once again, this weekend, ATV and dirt bike riders illegally took to the streets for the Wheels Up, Guns Down event.  

At least eight people were arrested, including one who hit a deputy with his ATV.  The deputy's injuries were not life-threatening.

Florida Highway Patrol Major Robert Chandler says call *FHP or 911 to report the gang out outlaws, but don't take matters into your own hands.Major Chandler says fewer people have been pulling these stunts in recent years and they want the trend to continue.
