The accused Marjory Stoneman Douglas High shooter is back in his jail cell after a brief court appearance this morning.
The hearing lasted less than 15 minutes.
The defense argued the Broward Sheriff's Office was wrong to provide Nikolas Cruz's medical records to the MSD Public Safety Commission.
Attorneys withdrew a motion asking that Cruz have no contact with the jail guard he's accused of attacking.
Cruz faces 17 counts of first-degree murder and 17 counts of attempted murder.
Prosecutors have refused to take the death penalty off the table in exchange for a guilty plea.
