A father turned activist in the wake of the Marjory Stoneman Douglas High tragedy has lost his position in Tallahassee.
Governor Ron DeSantis has retracted 46 appointment then Governor Rick Scott made shortly before leaving office. That includes Andrew Pollack's appointment to the State Board of Education.
“I agree many of these individuals are outstanding citizens who are experts in their respected fields,” said Governor Ron DeSantis. “I thank these individuals for their willingness to serve our state. They will be afforded every consideration as my office re-opens the application process to fill these critical appointment vacancies.”
