WATCH: Governor DeSantis Suspends Palm Beach's Elections Supervisor

Update: 1:05p

Governor Ron DeSantis has suspended Palm Beach Elections Supervisor Susan Bucher for her multiple errors relating to November's elections.  Wendy Link is taking over.  She doesn't plan to run for reelection.

DeSantis also accepted the resignation of Broward Supervisor of Elections Brenda Snipes.

The Governor used this press conference to announce Seminole County's Elections Supervisor.  Michael Ertel is currently secretary of state.

Ron DeSantis is set to make another "major announcement" as he begins to wrap up his first full week as Governor.

This afternoon at 1:00 he'll be at the Historical Society of Palm Beach County in West Palm Beach.

There's speculation that he's going to announce he's suspended Palm Beach Elections Supervisor Susan Bucher and replacing her with real estate lawyer Wendy Link.

Just yesterday he put the legislature on notice that he supports allowing medical marijuana to be smoked.  Earlier this week he laid out his policy when it comes to Israel.  He's also named two Florida Supreme Court justices.  He has one high court vacancy to fill.
