Congressman Wants TPS for Venezuelan Migrants

Venezuelans trying to escape the human rights abuses under the Maduro regime would be eligible for Temporary Protected Status under legislation proposed by Congressman Mario Diaz-Balart.

If the TPS Act is passed, Venezuelans would be shielded from deportation because of the economic, humanitarian, and security crises created there by Maduro.

Diaz-Ballart says Venezuelans who sought safety in the United States should not be forced to return to such dangerous conditions.
