Broward School Board members this afternoon are expected to hear pleas from residents who want to see Superintendent Robert Runcie removed.
Concerned Citizens of Broward County's John Daly plans to present his petition signed by 7,000 people.
He says if members don't discuss revoking Runcie's contract, they'll focus getting Runcie supporters voted out of office in 2020.
Board members are also slated to discuss an agreement with the Broward Sheriff's Office that would provide real-time video feeds from the District's surveillance cameras when an emergency situation occurs.
Today is the first school board meeting after the release of the Marjory Stoneman Douglas High public safety commission report.
