As great as the job news was to end 2018, expect more greatness early in 2019. Manpower’s out with its first-quarter hiring update and the news is fantastic. Better still, it’s best in Florida. A few highlights from the update include:
- All 13 industries/sectors increasing hiring
- Top three sectors are utilities, leisure and hospitality, and professional business services.
- The top four locations for job growth in the country are in Florida.
That’ll work, right? (lame pun intended) Those four Florida locations are Jacksonville, Tampa, Cape Coral, and Deltona at number one nationally. It’s especially cool to see that the recent trend of Floridians not having to leave the state for great careers after school is continuing in a big way.
