Former Broward Supervisor of Elections Doctor Brenda Snipes is in federal court today, fighting to get her job back.
Snipes says her due process rights were violated when Governor Scott removed her from office for incompetence.
The Florida Senate denied her request for an appeal.
Snipes planned to resign as supervisor, but was fired before her resignation took effect and replaced by Peter Antonacci.
