Miami police detectives say the driver stayed on the scene and is cooperating with them.

Miami police are investigating a hit-and-run crash that sent a woman to the hospital.
She was reportedly standing in the road when hit by a car at Northwest 7th Avenue and 28th Street.
The driver of the car sped away from the scene and is still on the run. The victim is said to be in critical condition.
