Murdered Hallandale Beach Woman's Family Sues Airbnb

The family of the Hallandale Beach woman found dead at an Airbnb in Costa Rica is suing Airbnb and the resort where Carla Stefaniak was staying. The lawsuit argues Villa le Mas resort failed to properly background check Bismark Espinoza Martinez who was arrested and charged with Stefaniak's murder.

Authorities say Martinez was in Costa Rica illegally.Airbnb has removed the resort in question from it's service.

The owners of Villa le Mas are cooperating with the investigation.
