Man Arrested For Threats Against South Florida Synagogue

A man is in custody after allegedly making threats against a South Florida synagogue.  

Aventura Police say the arrest follows a state and local law enforcement investigation.  

35-year-old Nadim Siddiqui made threats at religious institutions and businesses in Aventura, and residents want something to be done.

Siddiqui is accused of nuisance incidents like tipping over menorahs and trespassing at a Jewish market. 

He faces a criminal mischief charge for threatening the Aventura Turnberry Jewish Center.
