If you've gotten a red light camera ticket in Miami-Dade, there might be good news for you. A judge's ruling today could void thousands of tickets.
The trial brought by The Ticket Clinic has been ongoing for more than a year, but today a judge ruled that cities within Miami-Dade must create a set of uniform rules before they may issue tickets. The current rules which determine violations vary by city regarding speed and location of infractions.
For now, tickets in 16 municipalities are on hold until a ruling from the higher court.
