Nelson Concedes, Scott Wins Florida Senate Race

Three-term Senator Bill Nelson is conceding defeat to Republican Governor Rick Scott in the race for U.S. Senate.

All of Florida's 67 counties submitted final vote tallies to Tallahassee at noon on Sunday.

In the end, Scott edged out Nelson by just over 10,000 votes out of more than 8.2-million that were cast.

The defeat ends 42 years of public service by Nelson who was elected to other posts in Tallahassee and Washington.
